I'm trying to develop a JSP application in a Windows 95 environment.
This is done with the newly released jswdk-1.0. My problem is that I
get all the error messages from the JSP into Servlet translation, and
the subsequent Servlet compilation, errors in the jswdk server DOS-window.
This window automatically opens upon web server startup and is
impossible (for me) to resize. We all make mistakes, but my error messages
disappears out of the non-scrollable server DOS-window. I feel a bit stupid
when error messages are short and I'm able to read "Unhanded error! You
might want to consider having an error page to report such errors more
gracefully". I totally agree, but I don't know how. Could someone please
spare me a moment and guide me to page or write a few lines about how this
debugging could be handled more gracefully? I earlier tried working in JRun but could
not set up the debugging resources correctly and therefore went back to jswdk-1.0
since I at least could get a few error lines from this application.
I've tried a few things but now I'm stuck and clueless.
Thank you in advance, johan.
