Thanks again, I shall verify which Winsock version I have installed
and see if the stopserver script works better.
        If you get your jswdk server to respond to the "sendErrToClient"
parameter, please send a note to this mailing list. I have to unsubscribe
myself from this list today since it is the last day I can use my current
address, but there will be a new address for me on Monday.
        I also found out that there is a JSP-interest list, that might be
more suitable for our discussion.

        Great, and now I learned something. I have not seen the
sendErrToClient
        property before (and I have not tested it yet) but based on the
description it
        sounds like it *should* do what I was suggesting.

        That's probably more of an OS problem than a script problem. Do you
have
        Winsock2 installed? The stopserver script uses RMI to talk to the
server and
        most problems on Windows 95 related to Java and communication seem
to be
        solved by installing Winsock2.
