Hi !
You can do it...these ways :
1. change the server configuration to give a mime type to this file like :
application/type???
Note : I read that cvf file type are of type 'comma separated values'. Under
such circumstances....this method will not work with IE ( will work with
Netscape ). REASON : IE is a Microsoft product and so are cvf files....so
the file will open up in the same browser window. ( It happens when I am
using doc files )
2. you can use javascript's onclick event handler <a href=javascript:......>
filename.csv</a>
to pop a save as... dialog box...( recommended )
Haven't tried the second one though...
