Well, I was going to say that creation of a servlet newsgroup was
already in process, and that it should be available any day now (the
voted started a few months ago), but I just went to check on its
status, and I was shocked (ok, surprised) to find that it had failed!
(The announcement was posted about a month ago.)  The vote was 113:18
(in favor:against).  By Usenet new newsgroup rules, that means that
they only needed five more in favor votes to have passed!

I know some might disagree, but I think this is a real shame.  I think
it would've been a good alternative resource for people interested in
servlets.

The rules state that creation of this newsgroup can't be considered
again for six months.

Oh well, guess we're stuck with this list :-).  (Please keep it a nice
place :-).
