This will come to most as a very novice question to Java Servlet.
I have installed and Java Web Server on my 98 machine just using it as a web
bed.
I moved everything from mine c:\javawebserver1.1.3\jre\bin directory to
my c:\javawebserver1.1.3\servlets directory and hoping i can compile this
BasicServlet
i haver written. Then i went to dos prompt, under
c:\javawebserver1.1.3\servlets
i did javac BasicServlet. The error message came up saying:
Unable to initialize threads: cannot find class java/lang/Thread
what i'm i doing wrong?
Also, i just downloaded JRun and in its configuration setup process it asked
me for my
proxy setting. I have Java Web Server 2.0 from sun.com, what is the correct
response to this?
i would really appreciate some one to lend me a hand in this!
