I did some experiments with Jturbo4 and freetds drivers.
I haven't tried weblogic type 4 drivers which I would really like to.
( I could not find a downloadable development version)
freetds is free but has limitations. But you can still do your standard i/u/d
operartions
without problems. (A bug that I encountered is if the database name contains '$'
char you
can not connect to it.)
Jturbo4 just works fine but the drivers cost around $2K for enterprise etd.
Any other MS SQL drivers out there?

I need an affordable jdbc driver for MSSQL 6.5.
If there is any free better.
I am using sun's jdbc:odbc and it works just fine, but i am concern about the
speed.
Has anyone tried Inet's driver?
