We are currently evaluating Dynamo at our company. It is
an excellent servlet environment to work in and does everything
you say, including splitting of html from java with "Droplet" tags
in jhtml pages, as you describe.
The cost we've been quoted is 10K US dollars
per processor for the Application Server (DAS).
We have also looked at their Personalisation product,
Dynamo Personalisation Suite (DPS) which is 20K US
dollars per processor.
We were quoted 20 percent of purchase price for Maintenance.
