Your right. we never answered the guys questions.
*The answer for the security violation question: RMI. Load an app on your
web server that makes the DB requests, have the app send the requested data
back to the servlet.
*Applet security question: Once again. RMI. You can either have the appelet
talk to your sevelet and then have the servlet make the request to the app
running on the DB or set your security manager so that the applet can make
direct requests to the DB app.
