I believe that HTML is enough for you. It's easy and quick to develop. Now a
question, is java/servlets a request for your university. If not I suggest
moving to ASP because is easier and quicker to work more if you are working with
MS access. That's beacuse my experience says that Microsoft Jet is faster that
JDBC:ODBC bridge. contact me for more help.
