Thanks a lot but I know all that.
I was trying to get an advice of how to fit NES into this picture. BTW
WebLogic recommends the scenario #3. I've #1 deployed.
Here is what I particularly don't like about this approach
- if I don't use the Local Director, I have a single point of failure (
assuming I don't want to mess with DNS and load balancing at provider )
- since I have a LD with sticky sessions why bother with session persistence
( it's a performnce costs and special license from WL for $15k per CPU )
Now I don't see he reason to go with WebLogic clustering, and have a hunch
that NES is faster ( must be - WebLogic is pure Java ) has better servlet
support ( 2.1 versus 1.1 in WL 4.0x ) and it's not that expensive - I'm
trying to fit it into my scheme ( I have eval license ).
Now - here is my problem, I couldn't find any info on NES4 working in a
cluster, what is the recommended configuration in such an environment etc.
Any info will be appreciated.
