Fernando:
The best introduction is either Jason Hunter's book (O'Reilly publishing--my favorite)
or Karl Moss's book. You can find either by going to Amazon.com and searching for
'servlets'.
For freebee resources, go to http://www.servletcentral.com which should have a nice
set of links to web-based resources (I helped to put them together way back when).
Lastly, a graduate student from Hopkins has compiled a nice introductory web-based
resource which you can read online:
http://www.apl.jhu.edu/~hall/java/Servlet-Tutorial/
The JRun User's Guide also has an introductory chapter or two on java servlets.
Good luck.
