Right.

The reason the default reply option in most
mail clients causes the reply to go to the list,
is, I think, because the "Reply-To:" SMTP
header has been set to the list address.
Those who want to reply to the poster,
can select the poster's address in the
incoming mail, copy to clipboard,
then choose default reply option,
and delete the SERVLET-INTEREST
address in the To: field and paste
the poster's address from the clipboard
in its place. This works for me in MS-Outlook
and should work the same way in most
Windows mail clients. Don't know about
Macs/UNIX mailers though.
