Tomcat should be considered a newer version of JSWDK. I haven't used JSWDK for
much beyond a few test cases... so, I'm not really qualified to answer. From my
understanding, Tomcat is a newer, better version...

In that case (e.g.: you don't need to do Apache integration, but are happy with
Tomcat as a stand-alone server) it's probably what you are looking for. As a
test environment for JSPs and servlets it seems great... I've simply run into
headaches trying to get Tomcat and Apache to cooperate.
