Jay, am I missing something here. Why not
use the JDBC driver that comes with DB2. :>).
I think the post-er is asking how to start the DB2 driver ("I want to
know how to initialize the JDBC driver.").
db2jstart xxxxx, where xxxxx is the port number assigned to the listener.
BTW, this is all covered in DB2's docs, Nabil.
