But the problem to my mind is that JSP is becomming such a standard (for good reasons) that I find it hard to think about different ways of doing web interaction unless they can be expressed in JSP in some way. Certainly the biggest problem with JSP (and other web technologies) is that they mainly address the question of page display... not the question of request processing. I think that the Zope idea of mapping requests to methods is a good one. It would be nice to try and think of some way of incorporating that into JSP/Servlets. The trouble is that any solution is likely to be based on hashes of objects and that may be inefficient.
