I can't really see the problem myself - Why is that programmers seem more
stuck in the past than anyone else? Surely everyone has access to mail
programs that can read html? There are several that are free. And what
does Microsoft (oh no! the evil M-word) have to do with anything? Is there
really anyone here with a text terminal at their desk?

Personally I'm waiting for the day that we get html/styled document code
editors. Imagine being able to insert diagrams, tables or documentation
links directly into comments and see them next to the code you're trying to
understand.

If you can't or do want to read html messages then delete them. I'm sure no
one will care.
