We are using the SilverStream application server which is build (almost) entirely in java.

This appserver comes with the Fulcrum Search Engine, which is tightly integrated into the whole system. Probably you should look on their webpage (soory, no link)

Hi list,

We are developing an intranet site that needs a search engine. From whatever I could gather from surfing on the net it seems most of the search engines are built using CGI scripts (mostly PERL). Are there any good java based solutions that i can model my search engine on. Does any tutorual/book cover the fundas of building one? Any pointers are welcome!!

Thanks k Regards
