Actually, you can debug JSPs within the VisualAge IDE. If you launch the
WebSphere test environment, (Workspace-Tools-Launch WebSphere test
environment) and then launch the JSP execution monitor (Workspace-Tools-JSP
Execution Monitor), you can step thru the original JSP code, the
JSP-generated servlet code,  and see the resultant HTML for the JSP, all in
one 'debugger'.

Setting breakpoints in your beans/ejbs results in a code debugger popping
up when they are invoked by the JSPs.

One con of JSPs, in my admittedly limited experience, is that they cannot
be debugged within the Visual Age IDE. If I am wrong, I would love to hear
from someone how to do it.
