You might find the Expresso Web Application Framework useful, there is the
functionality to create a "database object" by reading the database &
generating a java object that corresponds to a table.

Then you can use the DBMaint servlet (as is, no coding) to automatically
create an HTML form for add/update/delete/search capability on this new
object (and the underlying table). This allows you to create basic database
maintenance forms in a matter of minutes from an existing database.
