Dear Nic,
Its obvious to me you know little about Java. These forums are for
helping people out. Imagine what the guy you sounded off to thinks. Now
he's afraid to ask questions. You can't control what people post on
forums such as this. If you don't like it, kindly just delete it and move
on. I have 700 messages to wade through every few days looking for things
I can learn from or help others with. I do it for your benefit too. I've
been programming since the late 60's. There's always something to learn
even from people who post weird questions. Let the Internet be. Readers
do not appreciate belligerence, even mine.

Seriously, servlets are Java classes. Text Areas are java classes. I use
them in many of my applications. You can write a servlet to do a chat
room. A text area would be a logical choice to include in the
application. I am writing one for my family use and business use. There's
NOTHING wrong with posting questions concerning these topics to this
Servlet forum. I am positive that the thousands of readers and writers
who particpate in this forum would agree with me, especially the Sun
company.

Have a good day sir.
