ok, simple question... I have installed the jsdk2.1 package on our web
server. All the instructions that I can find (including the readme) skirt
around the issue of IIS serving the servlets... I've run the startserver
command and got that part running without any problems... ie. I can run the
servlets connecting to http://localhost:8080/ and running the included
examples... which to my understanding is just running against the java
servlet server.
my question is: is this the best I can do? as in, will I always have to
specify the port of this server or is there anyway that I can run a servlet
and have it accessed through the web servers public directory..?
any advice or material regarding servlets and IIS that may help is
appreciated.
