Hi Tim,

mod_auth is not loaded in my apache's httpd.conf.Is it necessary for server to
implement authentications?
The Apache is already running a company intranet on one of its virtual hosts
and it asks for user name and password when anybody requests that intranet
URL.So I already have the user name and password authentication scheme running
on the index page of the intranet.
What I want now is that when the visitor goes to a specific sub directory in
the intranet then also the server should authenticate the user.

Thanx
Alok
