Hi Yves, thanks for the reply. I'm assuming that the container is on my local machine,
all I did was download the JSDK 2.1 under the assumption that it included both the
container and the servlet classes I needed to create servlets...is the container a
separate download or something I need to define on my local machine? Thanks again.

Subject: Re: JSDK 2.1 question
Where is your container located: at your local machine, or another machine
in your LAN?
If it's located at another machine in your LAN, and if you're using a proxy
to connect to the internet, you should at the machine's IP to the
"exceptions" in you're Internet Options.

Onderwerp: JSDK 2.1 question
I was wondering if anyone is having/had problems with the web server that
came along with JSDK 2.1. I'm using the JSDK2.1 with Java 2 SDK 1.2.2. I
can get my servlet to compile w/o errors, but when I try to access the
servlet via a browser, I get an error saying that the server can't be found
(this is after typing startserver at the command line). Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated...I'm stuck.
