Or alternatively use a product called JIntegra.
In this case you dont have to use JNI.
Check out www.linar.com
Has anybody used this product for commercial use?

Subject: Re: Invoking dll in a servlet
Hi Yann,
You need JNI to do that. First of all build the dll you want to call in your
Java program... and register it with your system's registry. Then you need
to
declare the method to be called (and is there in dll) as native. It
indicates
that the function is native to the Java code. Generate the header file for
the
Java code using javah...
Remember the way a JNI function is witten for a C code is slightly different
from that written for C++ code.
The process seems simple but you may face some problems... start with a
simple
JNI function that outputs the factorial of a number.... I suggest you to hit
java.sun.com if you need detailed explaination of JNI.
Hth,
