Hi Dushyanth, Gokul & others!
I have installed:
RedHat : 6.2
JDK : 1.2.2 Standard Edition
TOMCAT : 3.1
When I tried to complie the servlet code I'm getting the error:
javax.Servler not found in import
and the same for HttpServlet class
I even tried other options by installing :
1. J2ee 1.2.1 and compiling by adding j2ee.jar in classpath
2. JSDK 2.1 and adding the lib to classpath
3. JSWDK 1.0.1 and adding the servlet.jar to classpath.
In all these ways I'm getting the same error message.
Please tell me where I might be doing wrong.
I wrote code but could not compile it and lost two days by trying different ways .
