Greetings friends,
I'm dealing with a huge java servlet pgm that runs
24*7, and the problem encountered here when records in
database are purged and java's Garbage collection
takes place, the system halts for around 45
minutes...which doesn't sound good.
The current version of java here is 1.2.1.04 for
Solaris
Do you know if java's Garbage collection has
improved...with the newer verions.....???
Is the Java 1.3 Run time environment a beta version or
a production release..???
Would appreciate if somebody could enlighten me on the
same
Thanks,
Paul
