I am not sure how to do this may be look at Jason Hunter's
Servlet Programming book at http://www.servlets.com/.

But I dont think this is your problem. It might be session is expiring
earlier. This may be set by your web server administrator.
I know the default Apache JServ timeout out of box is 30 minutes.
For a 20MB file increase that limit for standard DUN.

I think you need to get a periodic `callback' inside code that does the
Multipart Form request upload that will allow you keep the session updated.

Subject: session timeout

I am trying to upload a big file say 20MB from a remote machine onto my
server and there are three problems

1. servlet request-response timeout
2. servlet session timeout
3. client session timeout

If i am delaying the response after the request in the servlet this can
happen but to keep the session valid i need to send another request that
will not allow me to keep the servlet request valid.

Any ideas about uploading large files please let me know soon.
