hai,
i did my public chat program using
applet-client and
servlet-server.
server-waits in a seperate thread for socket connections.
once it gets a connection i put the socket in a vector
when any client enters any data(which i post to the dopost of server) i get
the sockets from the vector and pass all the data to all sockets.
clients are waiting for input stream continuously.
the program works fine.
but i could not proceed to do PRIVATE CHAT as i have to send message
to only a particular client. i could not identify sockets.how can i do
it?
Am i proceeding in the right way?
