When you say "it doesn't work", what exactly do you mean? Do you get a "null"
when you try to retrieve it? Also when you say, "when the servlet is invoked
then again i do session.puValue("somename","0");" do you mean the *exact* same
line of code is being executed when the servlet is invoked again? Or have you
placed the putValue line in some other place where it is not working right?
Because i am wondering if it is the latter case, some other code previous to the
putValue line may be creating problems (though I cant really think of any good
example!!)..
