Following info might be of help to you eventhough i am not a master in it..,
Green Threads is nothing but the thread which can be written by the
programmer for the JVM of SUN SOLARIS Platform.This is o/s dependant thread
in the sense that this thread cannot be written on any other operating
systems apart from Solaris. Since Solaris has single thread model you can
add the thread to the kernel and execute it.
Native threads are nothing but threads which are used by the JVM's of all
O/S.
