hello friends..

   for last 1 month only i work in tomcat...
i use 3.2 version..
my problem is where to save the class fies & jsp
files..

in my system..i save in class files(beans) in

webapps/examples/web-inf/classes

and i store jsp files in root directory..

and in my friend system..the tomcat look for class
files (beans) in

webapps/root/web-inf/classes/


and jsp files in

webapps/examples/jsp..


i have doubt on this...

is it possible for us to change the directoy where the
server listens?????

and whenever i change class files....it is not
reloading the class files...
it look us to shutdown & start again..why this..is
there any way to rectify this...
