Hey!
Yes this can be done. In fact, this was the way it was done before
JSPs were invented.
Web documents are discrete entities so you can not write into the
existing page, but you can rewrite the page with your data included.
Get a book on servlets or go to the java.sun.com website for JSP
and servlet tutorials. Once you've done that, then come back here
and ask a question if you are still stuck.
