Advanced-servlets does discuss architecture. You'll find lots of
discussion about architecture in the archives.
We also have advanced-servlets-tutorial which is for people who are
not experts but want to become experts. This list is still moderated
but we're more relaxed about the level of knowledge we require; no
"what's a servlet" or "what should I put in the classpath" questions
but most other things within the servlets sphere are allowed.
>I know there are people out there that have trouble
>handling large contents of data (html or DB records) in
>a servlet.
Above all what you want from such a list is the presence of experts
who can provide you with the benefit of experience. Thw two lists we
run have that presence; from people who are members of the Servlet API
design team to people who have written servlets for vastly different
projects over the last 4 years.
