hi all!
i am developping wap applications for our campus.
i decided to use servlets to serve wap contents
instead of cgi. so far i installed the necessary stuff
in my pc, and it works.
however , my problem is,
i want to try those servlets on our campus' unix
server. the java servlet server is located in
/usr/jswdk1.0.1 directory that i don't have access
authority to that. the sample servlets inside this
directory work fine. but, i wanna use my own directory
as servlet root.
my directory path is:
/user/staff/wapteam
i have full authority under this directory.
what i want is :
can anyone tell me what settings should i do, in order
to make my directory (or any directory under it) able
to serve servlets.
any help would be much appreciated.
( please don't tell me to look at specifications or
user guides, i am just sick of doing that so far)
thanks in advance.
regards
Yilmaz :)
