I don't necessarily think the discussion was heated in any manner,
however, with that said . . .

This has been taken off line - since it has become, for some,
uninteresting and, in all actuality, only vaguely related to Servlets.

My question would be why are you using access when other alternatives
are available?  I know nothing of access or JDBC/ODBC bridges since I
don't need or use them.
