It's not a good idea. If you check back through the archives you'll
see discussions of why and how servlets are not a good option for
IMAP.

I am working on an IMAP server which will have some similarities to
the servlet environment. It is based on an abstract store which I
intend to implement with disc access.
The server will distribute load using an adapted session load
balancer that will be in GNU-Paperclips.
