Hi Nic
Is there a beginners mailing list. I am a trainee java programmer, writing
servlets with Linux, Db2 and IBM Websphere. My questions are sometimes
quite trivial to advanced users and I hesitate to post them to this mailing
list. I constantly read the books but quite often wish I had a mentor to
bounce things off. I hoped this list would be it. Am I in the right place.
Best regards
Susan Laing

For those who don't know:
The advanced-servlets email list is available to everyone who is
interested in talking about advanced topics connected with servlets.
In the last few weeks we've had 2 major discussions on how
non-blocking io might improve servlet container performance and on the
best way to implement session load balancing.
If you've got something to say and it's suitably advanced and
suitably servlet related then please join the list by sending a mail
to:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Please note: the list is for advanced discussion only, if you try to
ask simple questions you'll just be thrown off.
There is a companion list: the advanced-servlets-tutorial list. The
aim of this list is to mentor people who are not advanced but are not
beginners either.
You can join that list by sending a mail to:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Please read and comply with the welcome email sent by both lists.
