ServletContext is not declared abstract (ref. j2sdkee 1.3 API).  It's an
interface.  If you are seeing it declared abstract then you are looking at a
very old API.  In Java 1.x, interfaces were declared "abstract interface"
but that's redundant as interfaces are abstract by definition.
