FYI
Take a look at a new IDE from a company called IntelliJ. This IDE features
built-in refactoring facilities and most of the other features people are
looking for on this list (remote debugging, etc.). I have replaced JBuilder
(+ JRefactory) with IntelliJ IDEA 2.0 and am extremely satisfied, not only
with the features, but the tiny price, great performance, and small size of
the software make it unbeatable in my book. Add native CVS and Ant
integration, and WOW! Check it out...they just released 2.0 (I participated
in an intensive multi-month early access program for this release and it was
a great ride) on July 18!

| Personally, I use netbeans. Regular updates, has tomcat built
| right in, lets
| you view compiled jsp code, CVS, and loads more. It uses a modula
| extention
| system, so there are lots of extentions out there. And of course its free.
| However, you really need 256MB Ram to run in properly, and at
| least a 500Mhz
| PC.
| Have a look at http://www.netbeans.org/
