Guys lets stop bikering abt stuffs and drop topics which are off the list. I hate getting mails like these and it is not interesting at all. I'd rather read mails where I learn something. Please stop cluttering the mail box with this kind of bikering. MS and Java bicker that is bad enuff let us not start bickering and show a bit of professionalism here

Thanks.
Vijay
Ps. if this makes me a narrow minded person.. so be it.. Vijay Naidu

The problem is that if you're too broad, basically anything can be
considered to "affect" the list topic.
"Hey, how do I turn on my computer? If I can't turn it on, I can't
run servlets!"
The point is the list has a specific topic, and it is most effective
and useful for the most people if we stay focused on that topic. I'm
all for a broad interpretation of the topic (e.g. personally I don't
mind certain HTML, JDBC, JavaScript things as sometimes they come up
in the context of servlets), but some things go too far -- and this is
one of them.
