We have had quite a lot of sucess with xml servlets handling logic and xsl
transforming the output to html, or what ever.
Of the 4 projects we have done this way we have one that needed a sophisticated UI so
we wrote a swing applet (using the plugin) and it talks xml to a servlet.
In another project we've used javascript to make it more interactive.
Overall this is my favorite architecture, an we have used servlets, jsp and webmacro.
Tim.
