Hi,

"Sending mail" means "connecting to a mail server" and "sending it commands
and data". Asking this question is like asking how to drive a car without
using a car.

The only way is to connect to another (non mail) server that will forward
your mail to a mail server. But wouldn't this other server deserve the name
"mail server" ?

If you can explain what you really want to do (including why you want to do
it that way and what you want to avoid), it will be much easier to help you.
