Place in an envelope

Write the destination address on the front of the envelope

Return Address is optional but recommended.

Buy postage.

Place in the mailbox.

If you are trying to avoid a direction connection from the Servlet, you could batch 
the messages and have another process pick them up for processing. What's the goal ?
