Alexander,
Do you mean 'servlet.jar' instead of 'server.jar'?  servlet.jar has the
javax.servlet.* packages.  You might want to explicitly name the jar file
in your javac command line using:
javac -classpath <path_to_servlet.jar> your_servlet_file.java
