As indicated by the name "SERVLET-INTEREST", this list
is for discussing servlets and topics closely related to
servlets. It's not a general discussion list. There are
some good non-servlet-specific lists available, as well
as many good "search engines".

 Check out:

   http://archives.java.sun.com/archives/javamail-interest.html

Somebody on that list may know of options. (Although
your time may be better spent explaining to your boss
why using JavaMail is the right thing to do)

You also might be interested "search engines". These
are sites that scan millions (or even billions) of web
pages for certain keywords. Google is currently one of
the best for programming related topics:

Using keywords like "java" and "mail", you will find
many interesting sites that are relevant to your
question.

Thanks for your help in keeping servlet-interest a
safe and efficient place to discuss servlets (and only
servlets)
