You can try http://www.webappcabaret.com, it is free for 2 months
and then u pay a small value for a year. Is is good, however the best for me
is www.mmaweb.com , $25 month, very fast, easy and nice support. I'm using
it for 3 months and have nothing to complain.

        bye

Subject: Servlet Hosting

Dear group,

I was wondering if someone here on the group could help me out. Here is my
situation:

Okay, I have just recently plunged myself into the Java servlet world. I
have just completed
my first decent-sized web application that uses Java servlets and a small
MYSQL database. It's a christmas gift for my girlfriend. Basically
it is an online exam system that allows you to create new exams, add
questions, take
exams, etc. Each time you take the exam, the order of the questions, and
possible answers for each question changes due to the algorithm that the
servlets use. Now, I have been hosting this web application on my local
Orion web server at http://salvaje.dyndns.org

However, I don't have a very stable connection, and on top of that, it's
just a simple dial-up connection. I am trying to find a place that will host
my web application. However, this is the deal. I am indeed a college
student, therefore I don't have much financial backing. I am just looking
for a place to run this web application so that my girlfriend can access it
at all times. Only about 2 or so people will ever use it, therefore not much
traffic will be caused by this web application. Also, I don't even need
FTP/Telnet access. Nor do I need my own domain, nor do I need much web
space. (Maybe 1 or 2 megs will do).

I know that many companies offer servlet hostingand a nice and fancy set up,
but I really do not need all of
the power that comes with it. I was thinking about using a free service like
www.mycgiserver.com, but they are extremely slow, and they do not offer any
mysql database hosting.

So, could you PLEASE consider my situation and perhaps work out a deal with
me. I am really in dire need of hosting this small web application
permanently in time
for Christmas. Thank you so much!!! =) =)
