hi!
i don't think that you need to install plug-ins for
all the file types. AFAIK the only thing you need to do is to add an entry for
the relevant file types. you do that in "Edit" -> "Preferences" ->
"Navigator" -> "Helping Programs" (i use the german version of netscape 6.2
so i'm not sure if the menus are called exactly like i tell!).

Hi All !! Sorry this a bit offtopic.
I
have some .doc and .ppt files stored in my JSP based application.
These
files are being directly accessed from the browser with a URL like
below :
http://localhost:8080/myapp/MyFile.doc
While
the files show up perfectly in IE, I am having problems with Netscape.
The
problem obviously seems to be necessary plugins for opening these
files.
Where can i get the Netscape plugins for these files and other files
like
Excel etc.
A notable exception is .pdf files. These files open
perfectly in both
browsers.
Any help in this direction would be
really welcome.
