Well, just by asking these questions and soliciting this input, you're
off to a great start.  I don't have a lot of experience using hosting
services (of any kind, let alone with Java on the server), so I'm not
sure I can offer much specific suggestions personally.  The list of
questions someone posted earlier in this thread was pretty good.  I
think the issue of how you separate different users but keeping good
performance and security is a big one (e.g.  multiple JVMs, multiple
contexts, etc.).  And it seems like the question of where to go for
hosting services offering Java on the server comes up regularly on
this list, so likely there are others who can offer suggestions.  But
it sounds like you're off to a good start, and maybe I'll be looking
you up at some point in the future :-).
