yeap...you are right! =)
this was the only problem i have before....i don't know how to get the
self-signed
certificate that i generate on the servlet side...because it was place
on a keystore and there
was no certificate file created by "keytool".

what i did was i copy the certificate file by accessing my server
through the web browser
then as the dialog pop out which displays the certificate about the web
server i selected the
"view certificate"..then at the "details" tab i choose the "copy to
file" button which export the
certificate file of the web server to a directory you choose. =)

after having the certificate file of the server...i import it to the
"cacerts" file on the \lib\security
by using the "keytool" utility. =)
