As far as commercial app servers Orion is by far the easiest to install (just unzip), and probably the fastest app server out there. It's not expensive either, coming in at $1500.00 per server (not by processor or platform). OC4J (The Oracle version of Orion) is apparently free now, and handles everything on the planet.
